Women of Vision and Courage Award

The PCSW is seeking nominations for the 2008 Women of Vision and Courage Award.

One recipient from each of three categories will be recognized:

• Northeastern Oregon residents
• EOU Faculty and Staff
• EOU Students

Please submit three letters of nomination that explain why you feel that this woman is deserving of the award.

Letters of nominations should at a minimum include the following information:

1. What is your relationship with the award nominee and how long have you known her?
2. How has your nominee demonstrated vision and courage and acted as an agent of change?
3. How has your nominee shown leadership in creating a more inclusive, equitable community?

For each letter, please include your name and address, including city/state/zip, and a phone number and/or e-mail address where you can be contacted.

Please note that recommendation packets should not be overly elaborate or lengthy-- it is sufficient to provide three letters of recommendation and any supporting materials you think may be helpful in demonstrating why you feel this woman is worthy of the award.
