and BA 101 class.
8. Marketing Bliss: We need to advertise more about our club
to different majors. Jeremy is going to talk to the major faculty
members and hand out SIFE handbooks. A suggestion to help with marketing
is having a pizza/movie night or Open Microphone: Having bands perform
and people sing.
9.Aiding Myranda: Jake Reported. Myranda is 17 year old girl,
who has been diagnosed with Behcet Disease (only 15,000 people in
the history of the U.S. have ever had this disease), as well as
Factor 8 Inhibitor. She is the 3rd person to have ever contracted
Factor 8 Inhibitor. She is receiving a new drug to help her with
bleeding. Before Myranda got sick, no one has been able to have
access to this new drug. But now because of Myranda everyone that
has trouble with bleeding can now use this new drug. We would like
to first talk to T.J. Ghist the head of communications of EOU to
write a press release. The t.v. stations may be able to create an
event to help raise money for Myranda. Then we would like to have
the family’s approval of the press release. We hope to have a Benefit
Dinner and charge $10-$15 a plate. We would like to have either
a concert or dance included for entertainment. We hope to have Miranda’s
doctor and a congressman give a brief speech.

need to reserve the room, put an advertisement in the Community

topics in our presentation. Each topic needs to include: 1.what
is it? -description of topic. 2. advantages vs. disadvantages 3.
