Old Business
1.T-shirts= Jeff
Reported. We sold 90 t-shirts at the two games at home and only
have 5 t-shirts left.
2.Willow School Spook-a-Rama- Kelly Reported. Spook-a-Rama
was a success. The principal as well as some of the teachers thanked
us for the tremendous support. We had many volunteers from SIFE
help.
3.Yamhill Conference- Is this Friday November 4th. Kelly,
A.J. and Jennifer will be driving. The cars will be leaving at 11:00
A.M. Please bring your sleeping bag and pillow. We will be getting
acquainted with other SIFE teams as well as doing a ropes course,
going out to dinner Friday night, going to Lake Oswego, and other
such activities. We hope this conference to be a team-builder.
On-Going Projects
Ecuador = Michael Jaeger
came and spoke to us about Ecuador.
We are hoping to be able to sell some woven products before Christmas.
During Christmas break, we may be able to send a few people down
to Ecuador. By Spring Break we hope to be able to have woven products
personalized with EOU logo. Eventually, we would like to help them
find a website to sell their products to a larger market. We would
like to build and establish a connection with the people of Ecuador.
BA 101= A.J. Reported.
Meet tonight @ 7:00 and on Wednesday @5:00 in Zabel 201 to discuss
the details. BA 101 Presentation in Kim Sorensen’s Class will be
presented on Thursday October 31st at 1:00-1:50. If you are able
to, please come to show your support. Anyone is welcome to attend.
You may be able to be featured in our SIFE presentation at Competitions.
New Business
Two SIFE Team Positions
have been fulfilled. Jeremy Plummer is our new Activities Director
and Jake Rankin is our new Technology Director.
New Projects
Outreach to the Community-
Jake Reported. Amy a BAB member from U.S. Bank daughter is extremely
sick with a disease that has only been reported two other times
in the entire US history. We hope that we can help get some media
coverage to help support her daughter in covering some of the expensive
medical bills. Jake will chair and Sam and Julie will co-chair.
Lesson Plan-Jeremy will
discuss Business Simulation with Brad Johson for the high school
students.
