I. On-going/New Projects
1. Ecuador: Meeting
March 3rd @ 5pm in Hoke 309
2. Book Sale Update: We will receive $500.00 for the Booksale
and will have all advertising will be payed for. SIFE will reimburse
people who pick up books. Be sure to keep good records of your travel
(i.e., odometer readings, and gas receipts).
3. School Lessons
A. Updates -
International Auto:
Will be presented on March 3rd 1:55-3:00 p.m. We need 10 people
to help. If you can help, please email Jeff @ mallorj@eou.edu if
you haven't already. Right now we have Kelly, A.J., Mandy, Caio,
Tiago, Kassi, and Jeff. This group will meet Thursday, February
27 to practice. If you are helping, Please be there!
Grocery Store: Thursday,
February 27th or Friday, February 28th the presentation will be
presented. A.J., Jeremy and Erin are working on this project. The
presentation will be about 10-15 minutes. Times are from 8-10, 11-12:30,
and 12:50-1:30. Please contact AJ at andrewjbaldwin@yahoo.com to
find what time works for you.
Bartering: March
11th and 13th at Cove Elementary by Kelly and Jennifer. Times??
-. Embezzlement/fraud--Sam will be creating a newsletter highlighting
important issues and give them to business managers/owners.
B. Executive summaries
due next meeting, Monday March 3rd.
4. Presentation:
First practice March 13th or 14th. Jeff, Sam, A.J. Jake, Jeremy,
David, and Andi met after the meeting to discuss and finalize the
final presentation ideas for competition.
5. Annual Report-
Begin Assembling.
6. Jana Parmele (SIFE
webdesigner) and Sally Click from the career met with the team
to discuss the upcoming school events. On March 3rd-7th will be
the Mock Trials.All are encouraged to attend to get feedback on
interview skills. Also there is the upcoming school career fair
as well as the career fair in Portland, April 2nd and 3rd. If you
need help with your resume, you can go to the career center to get
help on Wednesdays from 8:30 to 10:00 and Fridays from 1:30 to 2:30.
Jana Parmele asked the group if we would like to work with her on
helping make the career day a success. If you are interested in
