Sediments and Fossils of the Powder Valley
Overview
Dr. Van Tassell's research group is currently studying the sediments and fossils of the Powder Valley. Student Role Students assist Dr. Van Tassell in mapping, collecting samples, and reporting results. In the last year, approximately 20 students have participated in Dr. Van Tassell's research, which allows for hands-on experience with geology and the opportunity to collect fossils.
