Note: Charges include laundry access, basic telephone service, social fees approved by each hall’s student council, Ethernet access in each resident room, cable TV in resident rooms and Alikut hall living rooms, and food service.. These are estimated rates as regular room and board fees are established by the Oregon State Board of Higher Education and are subject to change without notice.

Prior to check-in residents must notify the Residence Life Office of their intention to cancel their contract no later than August 15, 2007 for fall term, no later than December 15, 2007 for winter term, and no later than March 15, 2008 for spring term. After these dates a fee of $250 will be charged for late cancellation of the contract. Residents may only be released from their contract if they meet one following reasons, withdrawal from EOU, graduation from EOU, participating in a university planned educational leave program, dismissal for EOU for academic reasons, or being denied admissions to EOU. If the student does not meet the criteria for release from the contract, a charge of $8 per day contract fee will be applied to the student's account from the day of the check-out through June 13, 2008.
Dining service for all residence hall students and those who purchase meal contracts is available in the Hoke Dining Center, which serves brunch and dinner seven days a week. Dining service is also available on selected holidays. Serving hours will be posted in the residence halls and in the dining center. Flex dollars that are part of each student's meal plan may be spent at Mac's Grill, at the C3 Convenience Store, and selected off campus sites. Faculty, staff and guests may also purchase meals at the dining center.
Residence hall students may choose from the following meal plans: "Ultimate" (14 meals per week plus $100 per term in flex), "Best Value" (10 meals per week plus $200 per term in flex), "Mini" (7 meals per week plus $250 per term in flex, and commuter students may also choose a 50 or 75 meal block plan. The contract dining program features Aramark's RFOC (real food on campus). RFOC features best culinary practices in a restaurant retail like environment. Presentation cooking, fresh ingredients; world flavors through Pan Geos, fresh grille, traditional home style cuisine, fresh produce market, and Aramark's "good for you" health-conscious selection are features of the program.
Off-campus meal contracts are available for all three meal plans plus special 50 or 75-meal plan blocks designed for commuter students. Contract forms are available in the Residence Life Office. Guests may eat in the Contract Dining Room in Hoke Center. Tickets may be purchased from the checker at the door.
Mac's on the first floor of Hoke Center, features the C-3 convenience store with the top 100 resident and commuter retail store items, Béne Pizza, The Grille Works, Montague's Deli, Kettle Classic Soups, Express Grab-n-go, and Tmmy Ymmy's pastries and deserts. Mac's features a coffee house environment, big screen TV, and cyber café with on-line computer access.
Special coffee hours, banquets picnics, teas, sack lunches and other catering arrangements may be made in advance at the Food Service Office. Space and calendar reservations are confirmed by the facilities scheduling coordinator located behind the information desk in Hoke Center. Aramark offers three levels of catering service; catering express for students and student affairs, classic faire for the majority of events, and finer points catering for thee specialty upscale events.
