Orientation Mission Statement

Orientation at Eastern Oregon University assists new students with their transition to campus by providing programs and services which outline the University's academic requirements as well as social and developmental opportunities. 

Goals

1.  SOCIAL - students meeting students, having fun!

2.  CAMPUS GEOGRAPHY-familiarizing students with campus locations

3.  CAMPUS CULTURE-acclimating students to independent life and EOU culture

4.  CAMPUS RESOURCES-clearly & simply introducing important student services

5.  ACADEMIC FOCUS/MOTIVATION-introducing students to Advising (role and value); gearing up for college academic success

6.  MOUNTIE SPIRIT-generating school spirit for EOU athletics and other activities
