Pow Wow time is Indian people getting together, to join in dancing, singing, visiting, renewing old friendships and making new ones. This is a time to renew thoughts of the old ways and to preserve the a rich heritage.
What is an EOU Pow Wow?
Eastern Oregon University Pow Wows are a time to give thanks to friends and family for their help and guidance; as well as honor our graduates and recognize our alumni.
At EOU's Pow Wow, it has also become a tradition that we honor our women: mothers, grandmothers, sisters, daughters and anyone else who has taken part in raising us.
