The Multicultural Student Center (MSC) is open and available for use by EOU Students and Student Groups when the University is in session.To reserve the MSC for your event, contact the Office of Multicultural Affairs.
MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose of the Eastern Oregon University Multicultural Center is to develop and deliver programs and services designed to support and retain students from culturally diverse backgrounds, by providing opportunities for them to become active, productive, and collaborative members of the campus community. In addition, the center is committed to offering students a place in which they have the opportunity to engage in multicultural activities that enhance their academic, social and cultural endeavors as well as prepare them for success in a diverse global society.
The Multicultural Center offers an inclusive educational environment that nurtures cross-cultural communication and fosters the exchange of diverse perspectives and ideals. The center also works to promote cultural awareness and understanding, offers a place where people have an opportunity to engage in cultural activities that promote learning and sharing of different cultural experiences as well as serve as a resource for the campus and community around topics of diversity.
