The mission of the multicultural Students Council (MSC) is to unify diverse groups by providing cultural awareness and social support to all EOU multicultural students. The Council benefits the entire campus through sponsorship of variety of programs and activities organized by interested students and groups.

The MSC is an organization where all students can come together to share, learn, and experience their unique backgrounds. MSC work to advocate for underepresented groups by encouraging an environment that creates cultural understanding and an inclusive campus community.

MSC Goals

• Increase cultural awareness and foster an understanding and appreciation of diversity among students, faculty, and staff.
• Provide cultural and educational programs that highlight all the different groups
• Assist students from various cultures to collaborate with the various departments on campus to address their issues.
• To achieve a maximum degree of communication amongst the groups students at Eastern Oregon University.
