WHO WE ARE!

The Gay Straight Alliance is a social support network for LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transitioning, questioning/queer) folks and their allies.  Our club is committed to promoting tolerance, understanding, and diversity at EOU and in the surrounding regions. 

The GSA Resource Center is located on the 3rd floor of the Hoke Union Building in room 308.  The Resource Center contains a variety of magazines, books, informational pamphlets, DVDs and videos.

The GSA Resource Center is still very young and has only been around since February of 2006.  It is commonly called "The Closet."  Though we are small, we still manage to put on large events and help out with other clubs.  Events are currently in the planning progress and all members and interested parties will be notified of any up and coming (out) gatherings, special occassions, and other such club activities.

SCHOOL YEAR 2008-2009

Hello there, My Lovelies and Studlies!

Welcome to Winter Term!! The new year has passed, and things are slowly gaining back up to speed. I hope you all had a spendid start of the new term, and trying to get used to the classes you will be taking this term. Also, knowing it is still Winter, please try to stay warm, get good amount of rest, and keep up that Vitamin C.

Some new things to report. The weekly newsletter will now be published on Fridays, to give it a pretty decent run time. My new hours are up, so feel free to drop by the Closent any time for anything practically! Meetings times are still in the deliberation process, so things should be cleared up fairly soon. Hope you have a fabulous term, and be sure to keep an eye out for that rainbow!
