The Native American Adolescent Mentorship Program, known as NAAMP, is a site-based mentoring program targeting Native American youth. NAAMP is a collaborative partnership between Eastern Oregon University (EOU), the Pendleton School District, and the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR).

The projected outcomes of the NAAMP are to increase school attendance and academic achievement, reduce principal and juvenile referrals, promote positive behavior and communication skills, and encourage native youth to seek post-secondary educational opportunities.

The NAAMP is supported and funded through Eastern Oregon University, the Pendleton School District, the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, and the U.S. Department of Justice's Juvenile Mentoring Program (JUMP) Grant award.

If you are an EOU student or will be an EOU student and would like to be a mentor, please complete the Contact Form and we will be in contact with you.
